How to Connect to the MiFi Hotspot 2 of 3

To connect to the MiFi, please follow the step-by-step instructions below. These instructions cover connecting the MiFi to a smartphone, computer, laptop, iPad, or tablet.
 
 WiFi Credentials:
 
 Network Name (SSID): GCS Student Wifi 2.4G
 Password: Student123

Tip: If the device doesn’t connect, restart the MiFi and the device, then try again.

Connect Using a Cell Phone (iOS or Android)

  1.  
    1. Turn on your MiFi device and wait until it shows it’s broadcasting WiFi.
    2. On your phone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
    3. Find and select GCS Student Wifi 2.4G from the list.
    4. Enter the password: Student123.
    5. Tap Connect. You should see a checkmark or “Connected” status.

Connect Using a Laptop (Windows or Mac)

  1. Windows:
    1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar.
    2. Select GCS Student Wifi 2.4G.
    3. Enter the password: Student123.
    4. Click Connect.
      Mac:
    5. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top menu bar.
    6. Choose GCS Student Wifi 2.4G.
    7. Enter the password: Student123.
    8. Click Join.

Connect Using an iPad or Tablet

  1. Go into Settings-  Wi-Fi   Choose GCS Student WiFI_2.4G
