Charging Your Mobile Hotspot

 

IMPORTANT! 

Before you use your Mobile Hotspot, be sure to charge the battery for at least three hours to

ensure a full initial charge. When fully charged, the battery has up to 12 hours of life.

 

 

To charge the battery:

  1. Connect the USB end of the charger into the charging port of the Mobile Hotspot.
  2. Plug the other end of the wall charger into the appropriate electrical outlet.

Turning your Mobile Hotspot On and Off


• To turn your Mobile Hotspot on, press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds

• To turn it off, press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds

• To wake the Mobile Hotspot display, press and release the Power button.

Setting Up Wi-Fi Connection

 

  1. Press and hold the “power” button for 5 seconds until the welcome logo is displayed

on the Screen, and Wi-Fi is on.

  1. Use your terminal device to search for the wireless network connection with

the Wi-Fi’s SSID “GCS Student Wi-Fi” and click “Connect”. Enter Password Student123


        1a. If the MiFi hotspot is state-funded (no asset tag), search for the wireless connection with the Wi-Fi's SSID "School Wi-Fi" and click “Connect”. Enter Password School123


To revisit the password, it can be found by clicking the Menu button on the device and going to the 2.4GHz WIFI info or 5GHz WIFI Info screen. The password is displayed next to the lock icon.
